We actually found a French restaurant with a French chef. The food and service was excellent. We've often come into the area and have always bypassed this place. Everything was excellent. It was my wife's birthday and the staff actually had a birthday card waiting on the table when we arrived. I can't say enough about how good everything was. We will definitely be coming back and enjoying their food.

La Fable is a real treat. It provides traditional French food in an intimate setting (down a flight of stairs though, so please be aware of this insofar as accessibility goes). Every bite of everything we've tasted has been delicious. It's pricey, but the quality of food justifies the cost. A pleasure for the eyes as well as the tastebuds- everything is beautifully crafted. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy. The service was attentive and professional. We will certainly return!
Where to start with our wonderful experience at La Fable! We hosted a surprise wedding dinner for 18 people at La Fable and to say that the staff was excellent is an understatement. Even with the difficulty of planning the dinner from a different state and with such a large party, the manager, Ms. Tonia, was efficient and understanding and helped coordinate everything. On the day of the dinner, Ms. Jodi truly saved the day and deserves praise, as she went above and beyond to help with the decor and paid so much attention up to the tiniest detail. Kudo's to the florist, Kerry, who understood our theme and provided us with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers and bouquet. Ms. Tonia also had a custom buttercream cake that was ordered from a local bakery that was absolutely divine. The food was superb albeit the dishes did come out at different times but was understandable due to our large party. The staff at La Fable were a true blessing and the surprise wedding dinner was a success due to the staff. Thank you again!
Fable is a lovely spot with delicious menu choices and outstanding service! If you want French food at the Delaware Beaches, this is the place! We tried chicken cordon blue (pictured), scallops, beef, and halibut--all excellent! Two of our party had escargot, and they deemed the dish delicious! The creme brulee for desert was perfect. We have visited a number of times, and everything is always excellent. I suggest a reservation to ensure a table is available as it does fill up, even on a weeknight. G8ve yourself time to find street parking in the summer!
What a beautifully authentic French restaurant! The food was artful and delicious. Our waiter was simply top-notch! we all had a wonderful evening out and will certainly go back there again.
Charming French bistro with romantic atmosphere, excellent service and great food. Oh, and the cocktails were super as well! One block off main drag so very relaxed street scene. One block from beach. Highly recommended.
What planning my destination wedding in Rehoboth Beach Delaware I needed to find a couple of different restaurants to entertain my friends at La Fable was one of them. From start to finish they have French food down pat The service was excellent The food was on point The cocktails were wonderful, we had such a great time to begin our wedding weekend off thank you so much!!!
Started out with the escargot, then the crab of crab soup (amazing) then went to the entree chicken cordon bleu, finished off with a chocolate mouse. All of which was excellent. Moreover, the service was superb and a step above the rest. Would highly recommend. Yes it is expensive for some, however in my opinion it was worth every dollar.
One of the best restaurants in the Rehoboth Beach area in our opinion. You have to appreciate French food though. If you do...this is wonderful!! If not, there are other good restaurants in the area. LA Fabel is just special. The menu is limited. But the food is exquisite! Plain and elegant atmosphere. Superb service.
